- VLBJCAS has constituted an Anti-Drug Committee and Awareness Cell in accordance with UGC and Government of India guidelines to promote a drug-free campus.
- The committee is responsible for prevention, monitoring, and timely intervention against substance abuse.
- Details of committee members, roles, and contact information are displayed on the college website and notice boards for easy access by students.
Awareness & Prevention Initiatives
- Regular anti-drug awareness programmes, seminars, and workshops are conducted for students at all levels.
- Orientation sessions on the harmful effects of drugs and substance abuse are organized for first-year students.
- Posters, banners, and digital awareness materials are displayed across the campus to reinforce a drug-free culture.
Reporting & Support Mechanism
- Students can confidentially report drug-related concerns through designated reporting channels, faculty mentors, or committee members.
- All reported cases are handled sensitively, maintaining strict confidentiality and student welfare.
- The institution ensures no retaliation or discrimination against students who report concerns in good faith.
- Necessary counseling and support services are provided to students whenever required.

Hostel / Transport / Other Campus Areas
- All hostels, transport services, and campus facilities are strictly monitored under the anti-drug policy.
- Hostel wardens, transport coordinators, and security personnel work closely with the Anti-Drug Committee.
- Regular inspections and awareness drives are conducted to ensure a safe, healthy, and drug-free campus environment.
