1. Constitution:

Anti-Ragging Committee has been reconstituted for the academic year 2026–2027. The main aim of the committee is to ensure a completely ragging-free environment in the campus and also to take appropriate action against the erring students when complaints arise.

‍2. Objectives:

The Anti-Ragging Committee will be the supervisory and advisory committee in preserving a culture of ragging-free environment in the college campus

The main objectives of this committee are as follows:

• To create awareness among the students about the dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
• To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
• To promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to the notice of the committee.
• To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.

FUNCTIONS OF ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE

• To sensitize the students about the legal issues and consequences if indulged in ragging.
• Maintain grievance box where students can drop their grievances and take necessary steps to curb the menace of ragging.
• Conducting awareness meetings.
• Committee shall be fully responsible to ensure that no incidence of ragging takes place.
• Form squads to keep a vigil inside and outside the campus.
• To follow up the guidelines issued by the Government, AICTE, UGC, University, etc., from time to time.
