1. Constitution:
The Grievance and Re-dressal Committee has been reconstituted for the Academic Year 2026-2027 attempts to address genuine problems and complaints of students, whatever be the nature of the problem. The Grievance Committee comprising of Faculty advisor, two senior teachers and the Principal as Chairman. The Committee is under the control of the Head of the Institution who takes necessary steps to handle / resolve grievances received. Students are encouraged to directly meet the members of the committee or use the suggestion box in the campus to express constructive suggestions and grievances.
2. Objectives:
- Creating an environment in which students can freely express their grievances without fear of discrimination or victimization
- Counseling students to refrain provoking of their fellow students against College.
- To ensure smooth communication and effective solutions.
- To maintain confidentiality where required
- Maintaining harmonious student – student and faculty –student relationship
3. Functions:
- To monitor and respond to students grievances.
- To provide the Students access to hassle free mechanism to have their Grievances redressed.
- To ensure fair, impartial and effective solutions of the grievances.
- To co-ordinate between students and Departments / Sections to redress the grievances.
- Ensures that the grievances are resolved on time impartially and confidentially.
4. Grievances may broadly include the following complaints of the aggrieved students
- Academic
- Non – academic
- Grievance related to Assessment
- Grievance related to Victimization
- Grievance related to Attendance
- Grievance regarding conducting of Examinations
- Harassment by colleague students or the teachers etc
