PG Library

• The Central Library uses DrillBit software for plagiarism detection. Students, research scholars, and faculty members can access this facility to check theses, dissertations, project reports, and research papers before final submission to Bharathiar University.
• The Central Library utilizes SWAYAM PRABHA, a Government of India initiative that provides high-quality educational content through a bundle of more than 40 free channels. It serves as a valuable multimedia learning resource, offering 24/7 access to curriculum-based lectures, competitive examination preparation materials, and specialized subjects including Library and Information Science.
• SWAYAM–NPTEL has recognized VLBJCAS as a Valuable Local Chapter and awarded ratings based on the institution’s outstanding performance in NPTEL online certification courses.

Rules and Regulations

• Library access is limited to students and faculty of VLBJ, external users require prior approval.
• Members must present their ID card to borrow books or use reading-room facilities.
• Borrowed materials should be returned on time; overdue items may result in fines or suspension of borrowing privileges.
• Books must be handled with care. Damaged or lost items must be replaced by the borrower.
• Personal belongings are allowed only in designated areas.
• Silence must be maintained inside the library to ensure a focused atmosphere.
