About the Library

The VLBJ Library offers a comprehensive academic environment with high-speed internet access, an extensive digital collection of e-books and journals, and a barcode-based circulation system for efficient management.

Designed to support research, teaching, and independent learning across all disciplines.
PG Library
  • Dedicated library access is provided exclusively for students of all PG programmes.
  • Textbooks and reference materials follow a two-tier loan system: one set for general use and another for extended academic needs.
Rules and Regulations
  • Library access is limited to students and faculty of VLBJ; external users require prior approval.
  • Members must present their ID card to borrow books or use reading-room facilities.
  • Borrowed materials should be returned on time; overdue items may result in fines or suspension of borrowing privileges.
  • Books must be handled with care. Damaged or lost items must be replaced by the borrower.
  • Personal belongings are allowed only in designated areas.
  • Silence must be maintained inside the library to ensure a focused atmosphere.

  • 20 computers with internet connectivity and a BSNL 50 Mbps leased line.
  • Online full-text journals through N-LIST and DELNET.
  • Digital databases for research across disciplines.
  • Access to the National Digital Library and other global open-access platforms.
  • Facilities for browsing e-books, e-journals, and online databases.
Internet Access
  • Wi-Fi and wired internet access are available for academic use across library spaces.
  • Systems are configured to support digital learning, online research, and e-resource exploration.
  • The Digital Library supports extended browsing of journals, repositories, and study materials.
CD - ROM / Back Issue Periodicals
  • Back issues of journals and CD-ROM resources are available for reference within the library.
  • Current year journals may be accessed freely; back issues can be consulted during working hours.
  • Faculty and students may request support from the library team for archival searches.
